On October 19th, the Magical Menagerie Market hosted by @theapothecarycupboard comes to Thornton Distilling Co. for a day of eerie enchantments, strange delights, and shadows that stretch a little too long.
This isn’t your average vendor event—it’s the best Halloween market in Thornton, Illinois, and the funnest fright-filled gathering in the suburbs.
This market has teeth. And it’s hungry.
What to expect—besides the unexpected:
– 30+ vendors with their haunted goods, witchcraft supplies, horror art, and bone-chilling oddities
– Haunted well tours in a building older than your nightmares
– Cosplay creatures and costumed specters weaving through the crowd
– Live DJ set by @djjinxd, spinning twisted tunes for the restless and the bewitched
– Tarot, astrology, rune, and bone readings by those who know what lurks in the dark
– Mediumship sessions for the brave and the brokenhearted
– Chilling cocktails and devilishly good food to keep your courage up

Presented for the second year by The Apothecary Cupboard, this wicked winter market is where the spooky meets the seasonal. Shop 35 darkly delightful vendors slinging everything from eerie art to handcrafted oddities, with a live DJ set by Djinxd keeping the vibes devilishly merry.
Snap a pic (or a scream) with our roaming Krampus and Santa cosplayers, sip on soul-warming cocktails and brews from the distillery, and dig into delicious eats to keep your spirits high.
Don’t miss the Haunted Well Tour! Step into the shadows with a guided look into Thornton Distilling’s eerie prohibition-era well—if you dare.
So grab your horns, your friends, and your holiday mischief—and come raise a glass to the darker side of December!
This year’s save-the-date flyer conjures a familiar face from the shadows—our resident flyer artist, Nicholas (Sinister Rex), captured in all his eerie glory. Usually the one crafting the vibrantly dark visuals behind the Magical Menagerie Market, this time he steps into the frame as the subject. The haunting image was summoned by none other than Whitney of Whitney Perish Photography, whose lens sees beyond the veil.
