When reversed, this card warns of emotional escapism, manipulation, or feeling unmoored. The mermaid can also become trapped in illusions—singing siren songs of what could be while avoiding what is. You may be using charm or avoidance as a shield rather than expressing your truth.

Are you drowning in fantasy or hiding behind flirtation? Check in: are you seducing life, or being seduced by distractions? Reconnect with your core and your current—you don’t need to pretend to be magic, you already are. 

The shadow of the “nauti” mermaid is power misused or disowned—a rejection of feminine power, sensuality, or emotional truth due to shame, trauma, or fear of being “too much.” The siren is not evil, but misunderstood—punished for her pleasure, her allure, her voice.

The sirens of Greek lore lured sailors with song—not out of malice, but to awaken dormant desires and force them to confront their longing. In many cultures, mermaids embody feminine wildness, voice, sensuality, and the threshold between worlds.

“Feelin’ Nauti” honors the power of water-born femininity, the untamed pleasure-seeker who refuses to be silenced or domesticated. She reminds us that joy, seduction, and play are sacred—and that being “too much” is exactly enough.

She whispers from the waves: Sing louder. Dance wetter. Don’t apologize for your tides.” 

Purpose: To reconnect with your sensual, intuitive, and playful self through water and intention.

Materials:

• A bathtub or bowl of water
• Sea salt or bath soak
• Candle (aqua, pink, or silver)
• A playlist of sensual or dreamy music
• Optional: shell, pearl, or moonstone

Steps:

1. Set the Mood. Light your candle. Dim the lights. Play your music. Prepare your water and add salt or soak. Place your chosen talisman (shell, moonstone, etc.) nearby.
2. Anoint & Enter. As you enter the water, say:
   “I return to the sea within. I reclaim my flow, my freedom, my desire.”
3. Call the Siren. Float or relax and imagine yourself transforming into a      siren—scales glittering, voice rising. Ask her: “What truth wants to be sung? What pleasure wants to be felt?”
   Let the answers rise through sensation, sound, or image.
4. Voice Your Desire. Speak or whisper a desire aloud—one that is just for you. Feel it echo in the water and ripple into the ether.
5. Seal the Ritual. When finished, drain the tub or bowl with reverence. Blow out the candle and hold your talisman as a reminder: Your pleasure is powerful. Your voice, undeniable.
